Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, inventory, and compliance processes.
Evaluate internal control systems and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and regulatory standards.
Assist in developing annual and periodic audit plans.
Verify financial records, transactions, supporting documents, and operational activities.
Identify audit findings, control weaknesses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Develop, review, and improve business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
Identify process gaps and recommend process development initiatives to improve productivity, compliance, and risk management.
Conduct follow-up audits to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Coordinate with different departments during audit assignments and provide advisory support.
Prepare audit reports with practical recommendations for management.
Assist management in fraud prevention, risk assessment, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
