Experience:
MBA/M.Com/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
CA/ACCA/CMA (partly or fully qualified) will be an advantage.
Oversee commercial and import-related financial activities.
Review major contracts, POs, and financial commitments.
Monitor inventory valuation and financial reconciliation.
Support business planning, expansion, and investment decisions.
Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and compliance.
Coordinate with auditors, tax/VAT consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Analyze business profitability and financial performance.
Support ERP, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
Provide financial advice to Management on strategic decisions.
Job Context:
We are looking for a highly experienced and result oriented AGM-Finance & Accounts to lead the organization’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, LC, banking, and vendor management activities. The position will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, cost-effective management, efficient cash flow, accurate reporting, and strategic financial support to Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts operations of the organization.
Prepare and monitor budgets, financial plans, cash flow, forecasts, and management reports.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS.
Manage LC operations, including LC opening, amendments, documentation, bill settlement, and bank coordination.
Handle vendor and supplier accounts, including invoice verification, payment processing, outstanding management, and reconciliation.
Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger activities.
Ensure effective cash flow and fund management and optimize working capital.
Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities as required.
Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Monitor expenses, cost control, and financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
Supervise and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, and Operations for financial matters.
Ensure proper documentation and control of all financial transactions.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
