  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and high ethical standards.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance and accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing student accounts, processing daily financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Billing: Manage student tuition fees, admission fees, and other collections accurately.
  • Daily Transactions: Record daily cash, bank, and online financial transactions in the accounting software.
  • Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in preparing and processing monthly salary and benefits for faculty and staff.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and semester-wise financial reports for the management.
  • Tax & VAT: Assist in matters related to Income Tax, VAT, and external/internal audits.
  • Documentation: Ensure secure and systematic filing of all financial documents and vouchers.
