Practical experience in factory payroll processing, worker wages, and overtime (OT) tracking.
Basic working knowledge of factory VAT (Mushak-6.3) and Income Tax compliance.
Hands-on experience managing daily petty cash, local purchases, and inventory checks to avoid wastage.
Experience Focus: Prior experience in an Agro, Food, or Manufacturing company, with exposure to factory accounts and store management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally / 3S / ERP, advanced MS Excel, and MS Word.
Core Skills: Sound knowledge of factory costing, inventory management, and internal controls.
Job Context:
The Executive, Accounts & Finance (Factory) is responsible for the financial oversight and bookkeeping of factory-level operations. This role focuses on cost management, inventory control, and ensuring strict compliance with national Tax and VAT laws specifically for Agro-production and manufacturing units.
Job Location: Factory Office at Gawsia Bhulta, Rupganj, Narayanganj
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and record daily factory-level financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly factory financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Monitor production-related costs, including raw materials, labor, and overheads, to ensure accurate project-wise costing.
Develop, monitor, and optimize product-wise standard costing models for raw materials, packaging, direct labor, and manufacturing overheads to identify cost variances and drive profitability.
Track material consumption, yield ratios, and production scrap/wastage levels against standard norms to establish accurate cost per unit and minimize operational leakage.
Oversee factory VAT compliance, ensuring the issuance of Mushak-6.3 and maintaining records for Mushak-9.1 submissions.
Handle daily entry of bills, vouchers, and requisitions into accounting software (Tally/3S/ERP).
Verify all source documents, including local purchase bills, petty cash, and delivery challans, for accuracy and authenticity.
Prepare monthly payroll for factory staff and workers, including salary sheets, wages, increments, and overtime (OT).
Perform periodic physical inventory counting of raw materials and finished goods, reconciling balances with the books.
Supervise factory bank transactions, fund management, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure statutory compliance.
Analyze factory financial data and provide recommendations to management for cost control and profitability improvement.
Maintain factory-level internal control systems and financial policies to prevent leakage or wastage.
Manage inter-company reconciliations and financial reporting for sister concerns within the group.
Liaise with local authorities, banks, and stakeholders as required for factory operations.
Maintain regular communication with the Head Office and provide necessary financial data/reports to support group-level decision-making.
Perform any other financial or administrative tasks as assigned by superior management.
