Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and manage all mechanical, electrical, utility, and maintenance operations of the factory.

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.

  • Ensure smooth operation of utility systems, electrical power systems, hydraulic systems, compressors, boilers, air compressors, generators, and other plant utilities.

  • Plan and supervise maintenance activities of heavy industrial machinery.

  • Lead plant upgradation, modernization, capacity enhancement, and modification projects.

  • Manage workshop operations, maintenance planning, and spare parts inventory.

  • Analyze equipment failures and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring problems.

  • Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimum production downtime.

  • Prepare maintenance budgets and control maintenance costs effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and statutory requirements.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Management to achieve operational excellence.
