• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Corona or V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office.

• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and interior construction.

• Good communication, coordination, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating previous interior design/architecture projects will be preferred.

Job Context

We are looking for an artful Interior Architect to undertake a variety of space design projects for our Shade Design Limited, which is a sister concern of Paramount Group. The Position will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with stakeholders to managing and executing the design.

Job Responsibilities

• Undertake design projects from concept to completion.

• Responsible for producing architectural working drawings, including all details for architectural interior projects. This includes millwork, tile, elevations, plans, sections, and RCPs.

• Maintain/organize project files, schedules, and specifications.

• Site visits and assisting in construction supervision.

• Site survey/measures of existing conditions and producing drawings of the same.

• Work with the entire team in the office and with outside consultants.

• Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Define project requirements and schedule during the "brief".

• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans.

• Set costs and project fees according to budget.

• Research and decide on materials and product sourcing.

• Produce "sample" and "mood products".

• Supervise work progress.

• Work closely with decorators and constructors.

• Research and follow industry changes, evolution, and best practices.
