Responsibilities & Context:
· Design Blueprints: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create structural drawings and models.
· Feasibility Studies: Conduct site assessments, analyze soil test reports, and review environmental impact.
· Cost Estimation: Calculate budgets for materials, equipment, and labor.
· Site Inspection: Visit construction sites regularly to check work quality and monitor project progress.
· Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety rules on-site to prevent accidents and protect workers.
· Problem Solving: Resolve technical design flaws or unexpected construction issues on the ground.
· Stakeholder Coordination: Work with architects, contractors, surveyors, and government officials.
· Regulatory Approvals: Submit permit applications and ensure compliance with local building codes.
· Documentation: Prepare status reports, project schedules, and material testing
