• Strong practical knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.

• Strong understanding of structural systems, loading conditions, design calculations and engineering drawings.

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert design requirements into practical structural solutions.

• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to structural safety and engineering accuracy.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

• Strong communication, documentation and technical reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently while taking ownership of assigned design responsibilities.

One Direction Group is looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented and technically sound Civil Engineer – Structural Design to join our growing engineering team.

We are seeking a professional who can transform architectural and engineering requirements into safe, efficient, practical and technically sound structural solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural analysis and design software, excellent engineering judgment, attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality design outputs within project requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of building and other civil/structural components in accordance with applicable codes, standards and project requirements.

• Develop structural design concepts, calculations, drawings and technical documentation for assigned projects.

• Prepare and review structural models using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and STAAD.Pro.

• Prepare, modify and interpret engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

• Analyze structural systems, loads, forces, stability and design requirements to ensure structural safety, serviceability and efficiency.

• Prepare detailed design calculations, structural drawings, specifications, BOQs and technical reports as required.

• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP professionals, project teams, consultants and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

• Review structural drawings and design documents for accuracy, constructability, compliance and technical integrity.

• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving structural and design-related issues arising at project sites.

• Conduct site visits and assess existing structural conditions whenever required.

• Identify potential design risks, discrepancies and technical challenges and recommend effective engineering solutions.

• Ensure all structural designs and deliverables meet quality, safety, cost and project timeline requirements.

• Stay updated on relevant building codes, structural engineering practices, design standards and emerging technologies.

• Maintain proper records of design calculations, drawings, revisions and other technical documentation.

• Perform any other engineering responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
