Experience:

We are looking for a skilled, responsible and hands-on Carpentry & Fabrication Supervisor to lead and supervise carpentry, furniture, interior fabrication and related production activities.
The ideal candidate will be a technically competent professional with strong practical knowledge of carpentry, furniture fabrication, interior finishing, material utilization and workshop/site operations, capable of leading teams and ensuring that every project is delivered with precision, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day carpentry, furniture and fabrication activities at workshop and project sites.
Interpret drawings, designs, measurements and specifications and ensure accurate execution of assigned work.
Lead carpenters, fabricators, helpers and other workers to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Monitor the quality of workmanship, dimensions, finishing, alignment and overall execution against approved designs and specifications.
Ensure proper selection, handling and utilization of wood, boards, laminates, hardware, fittings and other fabrication materials.
Prepare or verify measurements, material requirements and work quantities to minimize material wastage and unnecessary costs.
Coordinate with Interior Designers, Engineers, Project Teams, Procurement and other relevant departments for smooth project execution.
Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to management regarding project status, manpower requirements, materials and potential issues.
Identify technical or execution-related problems and implement practical solutions to maintain project quality and timelines.
Ensure proper operation, maintenance and safe use of carpentry and fabrication tools, machinery and equipment.
Maintain workplace discipline and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
Inspect completed work and ensure necessary corrections, adjustments and finishing are completed before handover.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, workmanship, cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
