Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
• Diploma in Civil

• B.Sc. or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic institute.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in building construction, infrastructure, or structural projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with MS Excel, MS Project, or structural software (ETABS/STAAD.Pro) is an asset.
• Solid understanding of the BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code), ASTM standards, and structural detailing.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and on-site communication skills.
• Willingness to work stationed at project sites.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Civil Engineer to oversee on-site construction operations, quality assurance, and project execution. You will be responsible for translating structural drawings into field execution, managing subcontractors and site labor, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision:

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure work strictly adheres to architectural and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Coordinate, monitor, and manage site supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and labor crews.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports (DPR) and submit them to the Project Manager.
• Set out construction sites, establish levels, and verify layout markings according to approved plans.

Quality Control & Safety:

• Inspect incoming raw materials (cement, rebar, aggregates, admixtures) and ensure routine testing (slump test, concrete cylinder/cube crushing tests) meets standards.
• Enforce strict on-site occupational health and safety (OHS) protocols, PPE compliance, and environmental standards.
• Identify discrepancies or technical defects early and initiate corrective action plans.

Estimation, Billing & Documentation:

• Perform material estimation, requisition, and inventory tracking to minimize site wastage.
• Verify contractor/subcontractor measurement books (MB), prepare running bills (RA bills), and certify work completion.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including site order books, Pour Cards, and as-built drawings.
