Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct meetings with potential suppliers to onboard them onto the platform, ensuring monthly enlistment targets are met.
Analyze sales trends within assigned categories to identify growth opportunities and achieve margin and profit objectives.
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure accurate submission of new product listings, promotional proposals, trade plans, credit extensions, and trading agreements.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with approved suppliers to strengthen business partnerships.
Monitor inventory levels of overstocked products and develop strategies for efficient clearance.
Assist in the preparation and execution of weekly and monthly category performance reports and market insights, highlighting growth opportunities.
Work closely with the sourcing team to facilitate smooth vendor receiving processes.
