Responsibilities & Context:
Receive, verify, and store chemicals as per approved procedures and safety standards.
Maintain proper labeling, segregation, and storage of chemicals.
Issue chemicals to production as per production requisition and record consumption in system.
Maintain stock register, bin card, and SAP system accurately.
Ensure MSDS availability and compliance for all chemicals.
Monitor expiry dates, shelf life, and proper disposal of expired chemicals.
Ensure compliance with fire, environmental, and workplace safety regulations.
Coordinate with Safety, Production, and Procurement departments.
Conduct regular physical inventory and reconcile stock discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the chemical store.
Support internal and external audits (ISO, GMP, Compliance, Fire Safety).
