Experience:
1. Procurement Planning
Collaborate closely with Production and Planning teams to accurately forecast material requirements aligned with operational needs
Develop and update monthly/quarterly procurement plans based on dynamic demand forecasts plans based on demand projections
2. Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate and onboard new qualified suppliers aligned with company standards and sourcing strategy
Maintain and periodically review the Approved Vendor List (AVL) to ensure supplier relevance and compliance
Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement
3. Purchase Order Management
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved internal requisitions
Ensure all PO parameters including pricing, delivery schedule and payment terms are clearly defined and contractually aligned
Maintain supplier engagement to ensure timely and complete deliveries
4. Price Negotiation & Cost Control
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality standard, delivery timelines and legal terms
Implement cost-saving initiatives through alternative sourcing and or other procurement strategies
5. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation including Purchase Order, quotations, contracts, invoices
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements related to VAT, Customs and Audits
6. Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with internal departments (Accounts, Quality Control, Stores) to ensure a seamless procurement process
Monitor and track all consignments/shipments and proactively communicate any delays, discrepancies or risk to relevant stakeholders
7. Quality Assurance Collaboration
Ensure suppliers consistently meet defined quality standards and technical specifications
Support the Quality Control team in managing non-conforming goods including returns, replacements and corrective actions
