A) Inventory Management in Odoo

• Own the complete inventory workflow in Odoo: receipts, internal transfers, issues/consumption, returns, adjustments, and deliveries.

• Ensure accurate stock valuation, batch/lot tracking (if applicable), location/bin discipline, and audit-ready documentation.

• Maintain master data: item codes, UoM, categories, locations, reorder rules, and approval workflows.

• Enforce process discipline:

  • GRN against PO

  • Issue slips against approved requisition

  • Gate pass / material movement control

  • Scrap/return handling with proper entries

• Lead cycle counts and monthly stock closing; analyze variances and fix root causes.

• Prepare daily/weekly MIS: stock status, ageing, slow/non-moving, stock accuracy, and reconciliation reports.

B) Planning Support (Based on Stock Availability)

• Support production/material planning based on Odoo stock, consumption trends, and reorder points.

• Coordinate with Purchase to raise PR/indent on time to prevent stock-outs.

• Monitor minimum/maximum levels and ensure safety stock rules are followed.

C) Transport & Dispatch Control (Supervisory)

• Control dispatch planning through Odoo delivery orders and ensure timely documentation.

• Supervise Transport Officer/Executive for:

  • vehicle scheduling

  • trip planning

  • delivery confirmation (POD)

  • transporter coordination and issue resolution

• Monitor transport KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per ton/km, vehicle utilization, detention, demurrage, and damages.

• Ensure compliance: weighbridge slips, challan/invoice/DO matching, gate out/in records, and claims handling.

D) Systems & Compliance

• Create SOPs and checklists for store operations, Odoo transactions, dispatch process, and transport documentation.

• Coordinate with Accounts for inventory reconciliation, valuation, and audit support.

• Support continuous improvement to reduce leakage, pilferage, and process loss.
