A global container shipping leader is seeking an experienced professional to head its Export Customer Service & Documentation department in Bangladesh. This senior role oversees booking, documentation, manifest, vessel planning, and space management, requiring strong expertise in export operations, regulatory compliance, and enterprise systems, along with a proven record of leading high-performing teams in global logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the CS&DOC department, overseeing booking, documentation, manifest, vessel planning, and space control.
Ensure compliance with international shipping laws, INCOTERMS, and Bangladesh customs regulations.
Supervise the preparation and issuance of Bills of Lading, freight manifests, and special goods documentation.
Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure alignment with shipping global standards.
Utilize hands-on experience in EDI platforms, SAP, and enterprise logistics software to manage workflows and resolve operational issues.
Monitor KPIs related to space utilization, documentation accuracy, and service performance.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless export execution.
Represent the department in audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections.
Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives to streamline export processes.
Lead and develop a diverse team of 20+ professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
