Additional Requirements
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in local & foreign purchase, preferably in cosmetics, toiletries, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries
Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
Experience in foreign procurement, import documentation, LC procedures, customs clearance, and supplier coordination
Ability to manage complex sourcing activities and deliver results under tight timelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven procurement tools will be an advantage
A well-reputed leading cosmetics & toiletries manufacturing industry is looking for business-oriented and experienced professionals. The role primarily involves both local and foreign purchase & procurement, along with strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and discuss purchase requisitions with concerned departments
Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers
Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms
Prepare and manage purchase orders for both local and foreign procurement
Coordinate import activities including LC opening, shipping documents, customs clearance, and delivery timelines
Monitor procurement costs, control budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
Prepare contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity during disruptions
Coordinate with production, sales, finance, and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
