Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in local & foreign purchase, preferably in cosmetics, toiletries, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills

  • Experience in foreign procurement, import documentation, LC procedures, customs clearance, and supplier coordination

  • Ability to manage complex sourcing activities and deliver results under tight timelines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data-driven procurement tools will be an advantage



Responsibilities & Context:

A well-reputed leading cosmetics & toiletries manufacturing industry is looking for business-oriented and experienced professionals. The role primarily involves both local and foreign purchase & procurement, along with strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and discuss purchase requisitions with concerned departments

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms

  • Prepare and manage purchase orders for both local and foreign procurement

  • Coordinate import activities including LC opening, shipping documents, customs clearance, and delivery timelines

  • Monitor procurement costs, control budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement

  • Prepare contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity during disruptions

  • Coordinate with production, sales, finance, and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
