Responsibilities & Context:
Manage local sourcing of raw materials, spare parts and branding items.
Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and process purchase orders.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local suppliers.
Develop and maintain a reliable local vendor database.
Maintain procurement records, purchase files, and supplier documentation.
Prepare periodic reports on local procurement status, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Build strong relationships with local suppliers and service providers.
Evaluate supplier performance (price, quality, delivery).
Identify alternate sources to mitigate supply risks.
Ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with the budget.
Support initiatives for cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, approvals, and regulatory requirements.
