About the Role

The Senior Executive – Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of factory electrical systems by managing electrical infrastructure, remediation works, and safety standards. The incumbent will oversee electrical engineering activities in alignment with regulatory requirements, NFPA, BNBC, RSC, Nirapon, and buyers' compliance standards while supporting uninterrupted factory operations and sustainability initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Electrical System Management

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of factory electrical systems, including LT/HT panels, transformers, generators, substations, and distribution systems.

  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply and operational reliability across production and utility areas.

  • Monitor electrical load distribution and system efficiency.

• Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, BNBC, Bangladesh Electrical Rules, RSC, and Nirapon electrical safety standards.

  • Implement corrective actions for electrical findings raised during audits and inspections.
    Ensure that electrical systems meet fire and life safety requirements.

• RSC / Nirapon / Safety Documentation

  • Maintain and update all electrical safety documents, including:

    • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

    • Load plans

    • Panel schedules

    • Earthing test reports

    • Thermography reports

    • Preventive maintenance records

  • Prepare and submit Nirapon/RSC 90-day progress reports on remediation status.

  • Coordinate with government regulatory bodies, consultants, auditors, and inspectors for compliance verification.

• Design & Technical Support

  • Prepare and review electrical layouts using AutoCAD.

  • Read, understand, and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) accurately.

  • Support factory expansion, machine installation, and utility modification projects.

• Audit & Inspection Support

  • Support audits such as RSC, Nirapon, SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, Higg FEM, SLCP, and customer compliance inspections.

  • Ensure that electrical systems and fire safety requirements are aligned with buyers' expectations.

  • Coordinate the closure of audit CAPs related to electrical and fire safety.

• Preventive Maintenance

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for:

    • Transformers

    • Generators

    • Distribution boards

    • Fire pumps

    • Compressors

    • ETP/STP electrical systems, etc.

  • Ensure the calibration and testing of safety devices.

• Energy & Sustainability

  • Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities for energy-saving initiatives.

  • Recommend and support sustainability projects and initiatives in line with company objectives and compliance requirements.
