Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years up to 12 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the furniture manufacturing industry.I

• n-depth knowledge of furniture raw materials, components, and their quality benchmarks.

• Fluent in English – both written and verbal – is mandatory for reporting and communication with international stakeholders.

• Strong preference for candidates with an existing network and proven experience working with furniture raw material suppliers and manufacturers in Bangladesh.

• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership ability and team management experience.

• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.

Aus-Hk Dreamease Home Tec. LTD is a sister concern of EBS Group. It is a dynamic and growing furniture manufacturer specializing in high-quality sofas, mattresses, and foam products. We are expanding our operations in Bangladesh and are seeking an experienced Procurement Director to build and lead our strategic sourcing function.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Procurement Professional to oversee our entire supply chain and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of furniture raw materials (fabrics, foam, wood, mechanisms) and a proven track record of building reliable, cost-effective supplier networks, particularly within Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company production goals and financial targets.

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and supplier qualification to negotiation, purchase order management, and delivery.

• Proactively research, identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, with a strong emphasis on developing a robust local supplier base in Bangladesh.

• Conduct rigorous cost analysis and lead high-stakes negotiations to secure the best possible terms for quality, price, payment, and delivery.

• Establish and manage strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Implement and manage vendor performance metrics (Quality, Cost, Delivery).

• Collaborate closely with the Production and Sales teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure seamless material flow.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
