Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years up to 12 Years of production management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the furniture or similar discrete manufacturing industry.

• Comprehensive understanding of furniture production processes, upholstery, carpentry, and assembly.

• Fluent in English – both written and verbal – is mandatory for technical documentation and management reporting.

• Strong preference for candidates with direct experience managing production in Bangladeshi furniture factories and understanding local labor and industry practices.

• Proven expertise in quality management systems (QMS) and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office.

As we scale our production capabilities in Bangladesh, we need an expert Production Professional to ensure operational excellence, quality, and efficiency.

Position Overview:
The Production Lead will be responsible for the entire manufacturing process, from planning to shipment. This role demands a leader who can optimize workflows, enforce quality standards, manage teams, and drive continuous improvement in a furniture manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement overall production plans, schedules, and capacity strategies to meet sales forecasts and delivery commitments.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control systems throughout the production process to minimize defects and rework.

• Drive initiatives for Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and waste reduction to lower production costs and improve throughput.

• Manage production budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like OEE, and prepare operational reports.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production supervisors and line workers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Liaise closely with the Procurement team for material availability and the Sales team for order prioritization.
