Professional certification (APICS / SCM / PGD in SCM) is an advantage
8–12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, or Operations within FMCG / Food / Consumer Goods
3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role
Proven ownership of S&OP, demand planning, inventory optimization, and cost control
Strong experience with contract manufacturing and ERP systems
Experience working with senior leadership and presenting business trade-offs preferred

Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager (S&OP Process Owner) will act as the central control tower of the organization, owning end-to-end supply chain planning, cost governance, inventory health, and service performance. The role leads the monthly S&OP cycle and ensures one aligned, executable operating plan across all functions and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
S&OP Leadership & Business Alignment
Own and lead the S&OP cycle (Demand → Supply → Reconciliation → Executive S&OP)
Integrate demand, supply, capacity, inventory, cost, and working capital into one aligned operating plan
Highlight risks, constraints, and trade-offs for leadership decision-making
Demand Planning
Own rolling 3–6 month SKU-level demand forecasts across GT, distributors, key accounts, and NGO/institutional channels
Lead demand reviews with Sales and Marketing, incorporating promotions, seasonality, and channel dynamics
Track and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and variability
Supply Planning, Readiness & Risk Management
Translate approved demand plans into supply, material, and capacity readiness
Coordinate lead times, capacity availability, and material planning with contract manufacturers and suppliers
Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks to protect service levels
Contract Manufacturing & Partner Management
Act as the primary supply chain interface for all contract manufacturing and research partners
Manage production commitments, delivery schedules, compliance, cost, and service performance
Support onboarding of new partners and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Procurement, Cost Control & Vendor Governance
Own procurement of raw materials, packaging, logistics, warehousing, indirect materials, and CAPEX
Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management
Drive cost savings and productivity while managing FX, commodity, and inflation risks
Inventory, Logistics & Working Capital Management
Define and manage safety stock, min/max levels, and reorder points across warehouses and CM sites
Ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and control of slow-moving or near-expiry stock
Improve OTIF, fill rate, logistics efficiency, inventory turns, and working capital
ERP, Systems & Process Excellence
Act as key user and owner of ERP supply chain modules (planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, CM transactions)
Ensure strong ERP discipline for PO, GRN, stock reconciliation, and reporting
Develop SOPs, KPIs, dashboards, and management reports
Team Leadership & Governance
Build, lead, and develop the Supply Chain and Procurement team
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability
Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture
Support audits, traceability, and regulatory compliance
Financial Accountability
Joint owner of COGS, inventory working capital, and supply chain cost as % of sales
Provide cost, inventory, and service impact analysis through the S&OP process
