Responsibilities & Context:
Partner closely with Procurement, Production, Warehousing, and Logistics teams to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
Maintain product and process costing systems and perform detailed analysis of material, conversion, energy, and logistics cost variances.
Monitor and optimize material yield, scrap and wastage levels, utility consumption, and logistics cost per ton.
Track inventory levels, Days of Inventory (DOI), slow-moving and obsolete stock, and support working capital optimization initiatives.
Analyze freight, handling, and distribution costs by route, plant, and customer segment to support logistics network optimization.
Prepare and present monthly Supply Chain Finance MIS, including dashboards on cost per ton, yield, capacity utilization, and efficiency ratios.
Ensure strong internal controls over procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations, and support internal and external audit processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitization, and basic automation in supply chain finance reporting and workflows.
Provide management with ad-hoc operational and financial analysis to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
