Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma or B. tech in Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and lead the Laboratory and Quality control departments of 2 Tile Plants having Double charge, Glaze porcelain and Porosa Bodies.
∎ To Plan in Co-ordination with Production manager for the daily production planning.
∎ Responsible for setting the body and glaze formulation.
∎ To Ensure that Daily Quality inspection of output and resolve the problems timely.
∎ To have a control on the raw materials and ensure that the incoming body materials, glaze materials, stain, chemical etc. area inspected and checked according to the required standards.
∎ To ensure that the production doesn't have any shade variation.
∎ Developing the new bodies and Glazes for cost reduction without compromising quality.
∎ To implement cost control measures by new developments, reduction of the wastages of the production materials in each stage.
∎ To co-ordinate with all the departments in solving the problems, to implement corrective measures and improvements on quality and quantity.
∎ To follow the production continuously in order to achieve maximum "A" grade with minimum rejection.
∎ Responsible for the manpower organization in the department.
∎ Responsible for the customer complaints in co-ordination with the tech/production manager.
∎ To ensure all the laboratory instruments area under perfect operations all the times.
∎ To ensure that the finished product is inspected, tested and confirmed with the standard parameters and specifications of RAK Ceramics.
∎ Lead the Internal New Design Development activities as per the sales Requirement sizes.
∎ Identify the Root cause for Customer complaints and to implement the corrective actions.
∎ Document and prepare daily progress, Quality and Raw Material Test reports.
∎ Follow up the ISO requirements throughout the plant.
∎ Maintain minimal stocks of Body, Glaze raw materials and place orders when necessary.
∎ Maintain good team work and proper training to the down stream.
∎ To report to the DGM on day-to-day operations and developments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 10-15 years of experience in Ceramics.
∎ Must Require Experience in Laboratory and Quality Control.
∎ Well Knowledge in Body and Glaze formulations.
∎ Must Require Experience in Double charge production
∎ Previous Managerial Experience Lab and QC Department much better
∎ Excellent Organizational and leadership abilities.
∎ Exceptional Communication and interpersonal Skills.
