1. Candidate having global experience with most renowned factory is preferable
2. Should have at least 08- 10 years of experience in garments factories engaged in business with world-class customers/brands out of which 08 to 10 years in managing overall cutting functions of 30 lines Woven/Knit garments factories for renowned branded buyers.
3. Should have thorough understanding of Buyers` Style Sheets, Manuals and order details.
4. Should be very much skilled in following the pattern, specifications and styles, marker placing and cutting fabrics accordingly.
5. Capable to handle the most critical styles with zero tolerance.
6. A solid Knowledge of Internationally Accepted Quality Standard applicable for world renowned buyers
7. A very good aptitude to educate and handle cutting personnel.
8. Should have clear idea about planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of GSD.
9. Should have thorough knowledge on cutting layout, process management and maintaining production schedule to accomplish the job target and shipment schedule.
10. Ability to understand the importance of on-time delivery.
11. Excellent communication skills. a fair command over English is essential and ability to mix up in a cosmopolitan environment is a must.

The Management of a reputed Group of Company owning 100% Export oriented Woven and Knit RMG units is looking for Qualified “Manager-Head of Cutting” for immediate appointment.

1. The person will be required to look after the overall Cutting Department of 30 line woven/knit garments factory with state-of-the art auto-cutting set up.
2. Develop the Team and Lead them for the smooth operation of the Cutting Department using the latest auto Cutting and Spreading machines.
3. Independently follow-up, monitor, control and responsible for all cutting related activities.
4. Proven capability to understand different specification & requirements of a wids range of buyers from UAS, UK, EU and rest of the world.
5. Deep knowledge of fabric consumption, pattern grading, CAD marker, fabrics construction (Knit & Woven), size set etc.
6. Must have good knowledge of knit and woven garments manufacturing process and risk assessment of the product.
7. Maintain technical SOP`s of major buyers at all times.
8. Arrange style wise pattern and pattern grading to ensure zero error in cutting.
9. Verify & check the pattern to ensure accuracy of the measurements of the garments.
10. Maintain 100 % Compliance at Cutting operation and Department.
11. Receive Fabric and other items from the Store as per approved Consumption from CAD/Technical Teams.
12. Ensure Fabric Quality at the time of laying.
13. Obtain the QC approval for Size-sets and Bulk Cutting.
14. Ensure proper numbering and bundling of the Cut panel as per requirement.
15. Keep Liaison with concern Merchandiser/ PM/ Quality Manager/ Factory Head others for Day to Day work.
16. Any other assignment given by the management at any time.
17. Report to Management if there are any problems related to fabric, pattern, others resolving.
18. Provide consumption quantity to cutting operator.
19. Responsible for spreading process, fabric, cutting internal control.
20. Check pattern or marker & provide training to all employees of cutting dept.
21. Communicate with relevant departments to operate cutting department efficiently and effectively.
22. Ensure strictly waste control (reduce cutting rejection & fabric wastage), etc.
23. Differentiate the Fabrics as per Quality segregation.
24. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of all reports, records, and registers, and notify the appropriate authority.
25. Planning, developing and implementing allover cutting for smooth production activities.
26. Ensure the cutting process and procedure are as per the buyer`s quality parameters or requirements.
27. Prepare monthly/weekly cutting plan considering shipment schedule
28. Attend PP meeting of each style/order and implement cutting guideline.
