∎ JOB PURPOSE: The position is responsible for capacity planning of Gender Mainstreaming initiatives across BRAC PEDs with the guidance of PM. Strengthen the quality of knowledge products related to GM issues with ensuring national and international standard.
∎ Strengthen the quality of the IEC and BCC materials to achieve the ultimate goals of capacity development interventions of GJD. Also, the position will provide operational supports for PEDs maintaining with matrix management of all PM.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Promptly identify the TNA of PEDs, mapping of capacity initiatives and training calendar and facilitate the capacity plan consultation with respective PM.
∎ Develop, revise and update the capacity building materials including IEC and BCC materials according to the programmes, enterprises and department's needs with international standard.
∎ Provide support and also need based coordinate in conducting various study, survey, thematic analysis, evaluation of the gender mainstreaming interventions/initiatives in the PEDs.
∎ Develop and circulate necessary periodic reports and provide technical guidance to the staff for documentation and reporting.
∎ Review and actions to revise different communication materials, policies, guidelines and related documents for including the gender equality perspectives .
∎ Develop necessary handouts, leaflets and other relevant knowledge products for the respective sectoral PEDs for ensuing gender equality in BRAC.
∎ Closely work to support the monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management team to ensure result tracking of gender responsive work environment as required.
∎ Support to design and develop gender equality tools, frameworks, checklists, and indicators to strengthen gender mainstreaming in the PEDs.
∎ Support to analysis of KAP findings, write up gender mainstreaming progress, gender analysis and produce case story booklet, events report, learning reports of respective PEDs as required.
∎ Contribute to organize various learning events and knowledge generation of GM process and engaging men and boys to promote GEWE.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong understanding in gender, women empowerment and gender mainstreaming.
∎ Skilled in developing learning reports, disseminate to the wider platform and develop thematic report.
∎ Abiloity to design result tracking mechanism.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in and with teams and cross-cultural sensitivity.
∎ Expertise in developing gender sensitive training modules and materials or any other knowledge products.
