∎ 1) Minimum 10 years experience in any steel tower manufacturing or steel structure Fabrication manufacturing/ Hot Dip Galvanizing plant / Galvanization production process in Bangladesh or beyond.
∎ 2) Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management, and supervisory skills.
∎ 3) Safety Rules and procedures.
∎ 4) Excellent knowledge of the practical application of all aspects of Hot Dip Galvanizing.
∎ 5) Excellent knowledge of all standards and practices in Hot Dip Galvanizing.5) Leadership skills.
∎ 6) Customer relationship
∎ 7) Production and processing.
∎ 8) Problem solving.

Responsibilities & Context:

We are hiring a talented Manager to join our Hot Dip Galvanizing team and to work together at our plant at Shoilabil (Bathuli Scale), Dhamrai, Dhaka. If you're dedicated and ambitious, GSEL is a great place to grow your career. Don't hesitate to apply. The responsibilities of Manager - Galvanizing include, but are not limited to:
∎ 1) Manage Production and ensure profitable operation of the galvanizing plant.
∎ 2) Responsible for supervising the shift In-charges/Production Engineers and setting shift-wise production targets and priorities.
∎ 3) Responsible for for day-to-day galvanizing operations (Production, Quality, Sales, Maintenance & Safety), production planning and coordination with respective departments, chemical Process maintenance, control, cleaning documentation, and overseeing the production schedule to minimize customer complaints.
∎ 4) Collect and review data such as production output, raw material consumption, removing zinc ash & Dross, production downtime, etc., and analyze the data and create reports to Top Management.
∎ 5) Inspection of black materials qualitatively as well as quantitatively, and ensure the testing of all process chemicals and report generation in a routine manner.
∎ 6) Perform routine safety checks on equipment and monitor maintenance department operations to avoid unnecessary downtime.
∎ 7) Monitoring and checking to confirm with the checklist before processing for galvanizing and making suggestions for changes and improvements in the process.
∎ 8) Evaluate employees and suggest rooms for improvement to maintain the quality of products and safety precautions.
∎ 9) Reviewing the final product before sending it for the next process, and organizing galvanized product movement to further process.
∎ 10) Maintain daily housekeeping, 5S, and oversee the manpower handling safety precautions & wearing the right PPEs.
∎ 11) Maintaining galvanizing consumables/chemicals, tools, and tackles, and ensuring the records and log book are updated from time to time during the shift-wise production.
∎ 12) Oversee Quality Control and safety matters on the site, ensure that regulations are adhered to, and resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
∎ 13) Oversee the selection and requisition of materials for use in the production & maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified.
∎ 14) Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and advise on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost-saving mechanism.
∎ 15) Coordinate and organize manpower according to work needs, and provide necessary statistics for the production of work before declaring OT.
∎ 16) Perform cost control methods to maximize the efficiency of operation.
