Job Context:

∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ This position is responsible for ensuring effective record keeping through reconciliation as well as ensuring efficient management and maintenances of book of accounts. The incumbent will also coordinate with internal and external auditors and improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances and preparing financial reports.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare quarterly reconciliation statement and share with higher management.
∎ Prepare and submit bank invoices on need basis for received Inward Remittance.
∎ Ensure timely fund requisition along with necessary supporting documents and prepare financial reports with necessary statements as per contract/ agreement/ MOU.
∎ Prepare and ensure on time submission of accurate monthly accounts report for different assigned projects.
∎ Maintain proper coordination with the internal and external auditors to satisfy audit queries to ensure that qualified reports are issued on need basis.
∎ Prepare and update outstanding liabilities on a monthly basis.
∎ Assist internal, external and other audit processes of the assigned projects.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03 years of business/ industry work experience with a finance background and related experience.
∎ Excellent English and Bangla communication, both verbal and in writing.
∎ Ability to think analytically to understand complex problems.
∎ Strong project management skills.
∎ Should be self-motivated and a problem solver (proactive approach).
∎ Willing to travel when necessary for the project.
∎ Should be a team player and empathtic towards others.
