∎ JOB PURPOSE: To develop and implement digital interventions to assist microfinance programme to optimize process, increase operational efficiency, reduce costs while ensuring programme`s long term sustainability and establish digital ecosystem that will support microfinance clients to adapt better to the changing digital landscape of the microfinance sector.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement digital products and services verified and easy MFS based payment system for specially Microfinance clients by:
∎ - Helping MFS partner in designing the product and the platform more client friendly way
∎ - Facilitating requirements for developing the features in the financial application-based core banking system
∎ - Coordinating the technical integration
∎ - Improving reporting system payments from MFS provider in the collection app of the tab for loan officers and branch managers
∎ - Ensuring smooth field execution by providing staff training and advocating clients through campaign activities
∎ Lead the operations for MFS based loan & general savings instalment payments
∎ Establish support mechanism to ensure MFS based loan and run general savings payment operation successfully
∎ Ensure smooth MFS based payment collection by:
∎ - Adding and continuously improving features in the collection-based app in the tab
∎ - Seamless payment processing in the existing online financial application
∎ Try and roll out different digital products and services for the clients and digital interventions for lead generation which will bring unserved and underserved population under financial inclusion
∎ Manage external MFS partner effectively as a focal and deal with technology partner
∎ Collect feedback continuously from clients and field staff and incorporate those in the project as applicable to provide effective service as well as get better results
∎ Drive and collaborate with different cross-functional teams to ensure any project meets the timeline with the given specifications
∎ Evaluate the current state of knowledge and practices within the different programmes at the national landscape and translating the knowledge into programme decision-making
∎ Analyse and generate insight to ensure providing the right interventions to continue the digital payment momentum
