Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and maintain donor requirements, regulations, and laws related to the organisation's donor-funded projects and follow up it with the internal stakeholders to meet the requirements timely
∎ Monitor, analyse, and provide guidelines on operational and financial compliance related issues of support departments for effective internal controls, risk management, and compliance aligned with policies, procedures and regulations
∎ Review donors' agreement before signing, alongside recommend to revise policy, procedure to the management where applicable to meet donor compliance
∎ Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with donor requirements, regulations, and laws.
∎ During the agreement stage, facilitate negotiation with donors.
∎ Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
∎ Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs to staff, partners, and other stakeholders.
∎ Identify potential compliance risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Collaborate with the organisation's finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and requirements.
∎ Provide guidance and support to staff and partners on compliance-related matters.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of donor regulations and requirements, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
∎ Support to address donor audit observation
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management and grants management in donor-funded programs along with minimum 3 years of experience as a Grants Manager, Compliance Manager is required.
∎ Sound knowledge of donor funded humanitarian or development programs
∎ Demonstrated experience in report writing, financial report review, grant monitoring, risk and compliance management, budget realignments
∎ Excellent understanding of working with multiple institutional donors
∎ Excellent skills in project planning, project cycle management and produce quality documents
∎ Very good team player and ability to meet multiple deadlines
∎ Fluent written and oral communication in English is required.
