Educational Requirements:
∎ Master in any discipline
∎ PGD/ Diploma in social compliance is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Labor Union Management, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Training & Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The ideal candidate should have about 8-10 years of relevant experience in a reputed RMG factory who has managed compliance management within the organization and in its subcontracting factories and have to have a good exposure in completion & handling compliance audits by local and international monitoring firms (BSCI, Sedex, WRAP , CT- Pat etc) and buyers.
∎ The candidate should be well conversant with labor laws-2006, social compliance, C-TPAT, technical & environmental compliance as per Alliance-Accord Standards. Incumbent is expected to look after the worker issues in line with existing labor law and other government regulations according to the Code of Conduct (COC) of different international buyers.
∎ S/he will be required co-ordinate with buyer representatives/auditor's visit in the factory time to time. H/she should have to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English & Bengali.
∎ S/he will be responsible for day-to-day operation of Compliance Department.
∎ S/He is to implement and monitor different buyers Code of Conduct and various compliance issues.
∎ To support the compliance team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare corrective action plan (CAP) based on External, Internal, First party & third party social compliance audit.
∎ To prepare, organizing and managing factory audits as per buyer's requirements including various social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security and QMS audits.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Process & Procedure on Certification of WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT & ISO.
∎ To ensure all facilities involving health& safety specially fire safety measures and procedures.
∎ To resolve employee's grievance, stress in proactive manner and manage complex team situations for building up good internal relationship among the employee.
∎ Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
∎ Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
∎ Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
∎ File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies.
∎ Liaison with BGMEA, compliance auditors, Fire & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Labour Court, Police Station etc.
∎ To consult with top Management with regards to deciding priorities. Work as a member of the compliance team for regularly inspecting multiple factory premises and proactively identifying all compliance lapses and suggesting measures for their rectification.
∎ Preparing all paper relating to keeping office and factory ready to face audits
∎ Helping prepare reports and mails for correspondence with buyers and various compliance monitoring agencies as needed.
∎ Interacting with factory floor personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and aware them for maintaining better compliance standards
∎ Preparing regular compliance reports
∎ Supporting HR and Welfare and other departments as the case may be, in successfully implementing compliance related initiatives

∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and other related regulatory laws;
∎ Meticulous, detailed, well organized, and able to work to meet deadlines.
∎ Excellent communication in written & speaking in English.
∎ Well versed in computer application
∎ Excellent communication ability both in written & spoken English.
∎ Speaking and writing skill in English
∎ Able to handle Third party, Accord & Alliances audit.
∎ Knowledge of MS Office, HR Payroll software & ERP.
∎ Strong communication (presentation & content) & interpersonal skills.
