Responsibilities & Context:

Shakti Foundation is seeking a results-oriented Manager – Business Data Analyst (Health, EHR & Donor Reporting) to lead health data analysis, dashboard development, and data quality assurance across its Electronic Health Record (EHR)–enabled services.

The position will play a central role in analyzing maternal health, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and primary health care service data, ensuring field-level data accuracy, and producing monthly analytical reports and dashboards for key donors, including Opportunity International Australia (OIA), DFAT, and other institutional partners.

This role bridges field operations, digital health systems, and donor accountability, ensuring that program decisions and external reporting are grounded in high-quality, validated data.

1. Health Data Analysis & Insights

• Conduct monthly and periodic analysis of health service data, including:

o ANC, PNC, safe delivery, referrals

o NCD screening, follow-up, and treatment outcomes

o Primary health care utilization and service trends

• Generate actionable insights to support program performance, service quality improvement, and strategic decision-making

2. EHR Management & Data Quality Assurance

• Manage and analyze large datasets generated from EHR systems

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across SMCCs and Mobile Health Clinics

• Identify and prevent data duplication, inconsistencies, and reporting errors

• Lead routine data validation and verification exercises in coordination with program and MIS teams

3. Donor Reporting & Accountability (Monthly)

• Prepare monthly analytical reports and dashboards for donors, including OIA, DFAT, and other partners

• Ensure donor reports are:

o Evidence-based

o Aligned with agreed log-frames, indicators, and reporting formats

o Consistent with field-validated and EHR-verified data

• Support quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc donor reporting, audits, and reviews

4. Dashboard Development & Visualization

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI

• Translate complex health datasets into clear, intuitive visual formats for:

o Senior management

o Program teams

o Donors and external stakeholders

• Regularly update dashboards to reflect real-time and monthly performance trends

5. Field Monitoring, Validation & Data Integrity

• Conduct regular field visits to SMCCs and Mobile Health Clinics to:

o Cross-check EHR data with source registers

o Observe data entry processes and workflows

o Identify gaps in data recording and reporting

• Provide on-site guidance to improve standardization, accuracy, and consistency of data

6. Capacity Building & Coordination

• Support training and mentoring of health, MIS, and field staff on:

o Data recording standards and indicator definitions

o EHR use and troubleshooting

o Donor-compliant data quality protocols

• Coordinate closely with Health Coordinators, Finance, MEL, and MIS teams for integrated reporting

7. Reporting & Decision Support

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual analytical reports for internal management and donors

• Provide data inputs for:

o Program reviews and management meetings

o Strategic planning and budgeting

o Evaluations, learning, and research initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, Economics, MIS, or a related field

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in health data analysis, EHR systems, or donor-funded health programs

• Demonstrated experience in donor reporting, preferably with DFAT, OIA, or similar development partners
