Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Proficiency in tools like:

o Azure DevOps / Trello

o MS Project / Asana

o Confluence / Documentation tools

• Knowledge of:

o API integrations

o Databases

o Microfinance Management System/CBS/ERP

• Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria



Responsibilities & Context:

Business Analysis Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications

• Create:

o Business Requirement Specification (BRS)

o System Requirement Specifications (SRS)

o User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

o Process flow diagrams

• Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder meetings

• Perform gap analysis and impact analysis

• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements traceability

• Work closely with UI/UX, developers, and QA teams

Project Management Responsibilities

• Plan and manage software development projects from initiation to deployment

• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

• Develop project plans and schedules (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)

• Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, and dependencies

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (if Agile)

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

• Track KPIs and prepare status reports for management

• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication

Secondary Responsibility:

  • Any task assigned by the supervisor.

  • Other work required for the advancement of Shakti Foundation.

  • Field Visit as per organization policy or when necessary.
