Responsibilities & Context:

•       Lead and manage IT support operations, including helpdesk, desktop support, and onsite/remote support services.

•       Implement best practices for IT support, including incident management, problem resolution, and service requests.

•       Coordinate and communicate with vendors and the purchase department for procurement, contracts, and service agreements in a professional and collaborative manner.

•       Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network services.

•       Monitor and report on IT service performance, identifying areas for improvement.

•       Assist in planning and execution of IT projects, upgrades, and deployments.

•       Provide guidance and training to end-users on IT systems and policies.

•       Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and procurement planning.

•       Assist in IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization related to support operations.

•       Prepare management reports on IT support performance, incidents, risks, and improvements.

•       Participate in IT strategy planning and technology roadmap development.

•       Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and vendor agreements.

•       Proven experience in IT support management, preferably in a higher education or corporate environment.

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and software applications.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
