Experience:

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Diploma

• Minimum Diploma in Textile/Fashion Design or relevant trade.

• Must be a certified trainer under the CBT&A system (level 4 or above).

• Must be BNQF-Tailoring and DressmakingLevel-2

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Age At most 40 years

• Age may be relaxed for highly deserving candidates

• Relevant work experience in tailoring and dressmaking or as an instructor in any reputed institution

• Experience in ASSET/NSDA or other TVET projects will be an advantage

• Strong practical knowledge in tailoring, dressmaking, and garment construction.

• Sound understanding of CBT&A methodology and occupational standards.

• Ability to design garments, measure accurately, and operate different types of sewing machines

• Basic computer literacy preferred (MS word, Excel).

Job Summary:

To conduct training sessions on Tailoring and Dressmaking trades following Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) methods; ensure quality training delivery, skill assessment, and effective learning for trainees under the ASSET/NSDA project guidelines.

• Conduct both theoretical and practical classes as per the CBT&A curriculum and training schedule.

• Prepare lesson plans, session plans, and learning materials.

• Demonstrate different tailoring and dressmaking techniques (cutting, stitching, finishing, pattern making, etc.).

• Conduct continuous competency-based assessments of trainees.

• Maintain trainees’ performance records and prepare progress reports.

• Assist in organizing trade tests and certification processes under NSDA guidelines.

• Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of sewing machines, tools, and materials.

• Maintain inventory of training materials and request replenishment as needed.

• Provide guidance and motivation to trainees for developing professional and entrepreneurial skills.

• Support trainees in preparing for employment or self-employment after course completion.

• Coordinate with the principal, job placement officer, and project team for smooth implementation of training.

• Prepare and submit training reports, attendance, and completion records regularly.

• Participate in meetings, workshops, and training organized by RDRS or NSDA.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the authority

• Daily basis honorarium BDT. 1800 per day.
