Responsibilities & Context:

The Field Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising field-level implementation of project activities under the C-RANGPUR Project, ensuring effective delivery of outputs related to climate-resilient livelihoods, Nutrition, health services, community governance, and rights-based approaches, in line with the project’s Logical Framework and Theory of Change.

Key Areas of Accountabilities:

Field Implementation & Coordination:

  • Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities at community and union level

  • Support implementation of activities related to:

    • Climate-resilient agriculture and livelihood diversification

    • WASH and food security

    • Primary health service outreach and CHV activities

    • Community governance, women’s groups, and disaster committees

  • Ensure activities are implemented according to approved work plans and timelines

B. Community Mobilization & Rights-Based Programming

  • Facilitate community engagement and participation, with special focus on women, char dwellers, and marginalized groups

  • Support formation and strengthening of:

    • Women’s groups and CBO federations

    • Disaster management and water management committees

  • Promote awareness of rights, entitlements, and access to government services

  • Ensure gender equality, social inclusion, and safeguarding principles are applied at field level

C. Supervision & Capacity Support

  • Supervise Community Mobilizers and CHVs to ensure quality outreach and service delivery

  • Support field-level trainings, demonstrations, and awareness sessions

  • Provide on-the-job coaching and technical support to community structures

D. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

  • Support routine monitoring of activities and adoption of promoted practices

  • Collect and verify field-level data against logframe indicators

  • Maintain activity records, attendance sheets, and field reports

  • Support baseline, KAP, and other surveys in coordination with the MEL Officer

E. Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with Union Parishads, Upazila-level service providers, and local leaders

  • Support coordination meetings and advocacy initiatives at field level

  • Facilitate community feedback and grievance redress mechanisms

F. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and safeguarding standards

  • Identify implementation challenges and risks (climate, social, operational) and report to supervisors

  • Support adaptive actions during climate shocks and emergencies
