Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. ensure that all recipes are confirmed according to actual fabric before releasing to bulk production.
∎ 2. Ensure those recipes are at a competitive cost by conducting costing and review.
∎ 3. Ensure that chemicals, dyes, and auxiliaries are tested and passed before issuance for bulk consumption.
∎ 4. Provide necessary training manpower in the proper use of sophisticated lab machines.
∎ 5. Review the results of the fastness test for; cross staining, washing, water, rubbing, Light fastness, and perspiration and ensure the accuracy of the result by guiding the personnel to the proper procedure of testing the materials.
∎ 6. Guide and train the personnel in the proper physical test of all the fabric which conforms to the required procedure by individual customers.
∎ 7. Ensure that all required performance standards of all the orders are received and confirmed before the start of production.
∎ 8. Ensure that the test conducted is recorded for review and summary reporting.
∎ 9. Provide accurate & reliable test results to all concerned departments on time.
∎ 10. Review all the physical test reports and advise the production department to process them if any batches fail.
∎ 11. Communicate with buyers regarding troubleshooting of technical points of the products.
∎ 12. Monitoring washing & ETP for smooth operations.
∎ 13. Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
