Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources department. This role will provide hands-on experience in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, data management, and employee support. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a keen interest in building a career in Human Resources. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates.

  • Conduct initial telephonic or in-person interviews as part of the screening process.

  • Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Communicate employment decisions and updates to candidates professionally.

  • Maintain and regularly update the candidate database.

  • Conduct background verifications of shortlisted candidates.

  • Assist in onboarding by introducing new hires to the team and their supervisors.

  • Update internal HR databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.

  • Post, update, and remove job advertisements on job boards, social media, and career pages.

  • Address basic employee queries, such as leave balances and benefit-related questions.

  • Help in reviewing and distributing company policies in both digital and print formats.

  • Support the HR team in organizing company events, recruitment drives, and career fairs.
