∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the overall supervision of the IOM Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the CwC WG Coordinator in Cox`s Bazar, the IM Assistant is responsible to support CwC WG Information Management aspects and requirements of the coordination for CwC WG in Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be assigned to the following tasks:
∎ 1. Identify gaps on data and information relevant to CwC WG and support the implementation of overall information management (IM)/ data management activities including data collection, processing and analysis for CwC WG.
∎ 2. Ensure adequate preparedness for spatial and non-spatial data including storing shape files, vulnerability and census/survey information etc. for producing quality GIS maps and info graphics for CwC WG.
∎ 3. Perform regular data collection/updates in 4W, Sitrep, contact lists and other information as needed and share those information through proper channel.
∎ 4. Support in the design and implementation of standardized data collection template, harmonized reporting indicators and monitoring of humanitarian response activities.
∎ 5. Support the data processing through proper collation/compilation, sorting, encoding and organizing on regular basis within the CwC WG and at inter sector level.
∎ 6. Based on collected data, produce/update, visualize and present standard information products including maps, info graphic, dashboards and databases on a regular basis and contribute to the reporting against JRP indicators.
∎ 7. Coordinate and perform geospatial analysis, as necessary, based on collected data and disseminate resulting products and datasets.
∎ 8. Keep proactive effort constantly to look up for various relevant information resources including assessment and other reports, factsheets, maps, documents etc.
∎ 9. Continue regularly updating and archiving information resources from the WG as well as other sources in the Shonjog, humanitarian info website, Google groups, dropbox etc. Disseminate/ keep the resources publicly available and usable for future reference.
∎ 10. Support CwC Coordinator to maintain regular liaison with key stakeholders (CwC sub-groups/ taskforces, ISCG IMA team, other IM and assessment entities.
∎ 11. Attend the meetings of IMAWG, CwC WG and sub-group/taskforces, other sectors as relevant and maintain coordination on IM issues. Maintain strong partnerships and regular liaison with key stakeholders in relation to IM, including IMOs from other sectors and agencies and government counterparts.
∎ 12. Provide technical guidance to the CwC WG members, sub-groups/taskforces as well as other stake holders in works related to IM function that is relevant to CwC WG.
∎ 13. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated experience in emergency response in the field, Data Management or Information management in crisis, post conflict and other displacement context;
∎ Understanding and respect of IOM's data protection guidelines;
∎ Knowledge of ArcGIS or any enterprise GIS software, Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), Software development tools, Kobo, ODK, MS Office;
∎ Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla. Working knowledge of local language will be added advantage.
∎ Working experience in the region is an advantage
