• Master’s (preferably PhD) in Social Inclusion, Gender Studies, Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Age At least 35 years

• The selected candidate must stay in Cox’s Bazar for the duration of the assignment.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in inclusion-related programs (disability inclusion, GESI, inclusive education)

• Proven experience in assessments, training facilitation, and community/stakeholder engagement.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills in Bangla and English.

• Skilled in MS Office and digital data tools (Kobo, ODK, Survey Solutions)

About the Project:

Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be (GESI) project aims to create school environments where children are taught and experience gender equality and social inclusion and actively contribute to shaping these values. It will focus on what children value as essential to living a good life and their ability to do and be, also referred to as children’s valued capabilities.

Role Summary:

The Inclusion Specialist will support the project in strengthening social inclusion, disability inclusion, and equitable learning environments in public schools. The role involves conducting inclusion assessments, guiding inclusive practices, and building the capacity of teachers, staff, and stakeholders to ensure all children—including marginalized, disadvantaged, and differently abled learners—can fully participate in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct school-level inclusion assessments and provide actionable recommendations.

• Facilitate capacity-building sessions on inclusive education, disability inclusion, and safeguarding.

• Support schools and project teams to adopt inclusive, child-centered, and GESI-responsive practices.

• Engage marginalized groups, children with disabilities, and community members in inclusive activities.

• Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and research summaries in Bangla and English.

• This is a contractual assignment for a duration of 20 days, with a total contract value of 2,00,000 Taka (inclusive of all VAT and taxes).

• VAT & Tax will be deducted as per Government policy.
