Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a highly motivated, disciplined, dynamic, and experienced Hydrographic and Bathymetric Surveyor to conduct surveys of rivers, canals, lakes, reservoirs, and coastal areas; collect and process underwater depth and positioning data; prepare accurate bathymetric maps and technical reports; and support engineering, dredging, and construction projects by providing reliable survey information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bathymetric surveys using Echo Sounders, GNSS/RTK GPS, and other hydrographic survey equipment.

  • Collect, process, validate, and interpret underwater depth, positioning, and tidal data.

  • Prepare bathymetric maps, cross-sections, longitudinal profiles, contour maps, and survey drawings.

  • Perform field surveys to establish riverbed levels, underwater terrain, and channel conditions.

  • Operate and calibrate survey equipment and ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • Process survey data using specialized hydrographic software and CAD applications.

  • Prepare comprehensive hydrographic survey reports, including methodology, findings, maps, drawings, and conclusions.

  • Identify inconsistencies in survey data and conduct additional field verification when required.

  • Coordinate with project engineers, construction teams, and project management to meet survey requirements.

  • Maintain survey records, raw data, processed datasets, equipment logs, and final deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, survey standards, and applicable safety procedures.

  • Submit raw, processed, and final survey data within the agreed project deadlines.
