Job Context:
∎ The Human Resources Officer is responsible for recruitment & selection through job advertisements, CV screening , interview scheduling, interviewing, selecting candidates, salary negotiation, perform reference & Background check and confirm the process of job offering and appointment under the direct supervision of Senior Human Resources Officer, Cox’s Bazar. He/ She will also ensure the national staff contract management & overall HR operation.
∎ Department: Human Resources
∎ Work Location: IRC-Bangladesh, Ukhiya Office (with frequent travel to Cox’s Bazar Office & Camps)
∎ Reporting to: Senior Human Resources Officer.
∎ Contract Length: Up to December 31, 2019 (with possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist national staff recruitment for the IRC, Bangladesh Program especially field based positions that includes active sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, salary negotiations job offer etc.
∎ He/she has to ensure all work will be accomplished in a spirit of partnership and collaboration with the hiring manager.
∎ Ensuring IRC global recruitment compliance, procedures and policies.
∎ Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers.
∎ Receive recruitment requisition from different Programs head & justify the needs by approved Budget line.
∎ Process documentation and prepare reports relating to HR activities (staffing, recruitment etc.)
∎ Tracking the field based national staff recruitment & update to Hiring Managers.
∎ He/ she will ensure proper and effective contract management process for national staff. (E.g. transition, contract renewal, contract termination, transfer etc.)
∎ Ensure contract extension on time and delivered to concern person and keep record.
∎ Follow-up Ukhiya & Filed staffs are getting proper help on national staff leave and time sheet management.
∎ Respond to employee related queries and provide services to all HR related inquiries and requests.
∎ Any other special assignment assigned by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound experience in Emergency context recruitment.
∎ Deep understanding on national staff contract Management.
∎ Must be a team player.
∎ Advance skills in MS Excel & MS Office.
∎ Enthusiastic Proactive, positive attitude & flexible.
∎ Good English communications skills both verbal and written.
∎ Excellent database, data management and data analysis skills.
∎ Excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to handle pressure and improve
∎ Ability to work in an inter cultural environment
∎ Proficiency in Rohingya/Chittagonian language is preferable.

Salary: Tk. 52500 (Monthly)

∎ Two bonuses in a year equivalent to two basic salaries.
