  • MBA will be an added advantage

Additional Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with SEL’s vision, culture, and business goals.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the MD and senior leadership teams on people and organizational matters.

  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and a robust recruitment process to ensure timely onboarding of the right talent.

  • Drive an effective Performance Management system ensuring SMART KPI setting, timely appraisal through dialogue, and proper documentation in all phases

  • Build a strong learning and development culture through need-based training plans, leadership development, and functional capability-building initiatives.

  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and retention of key employees.

  • Embed standard HR policies and processes that comply with Bangladesh labor laws and reflect industry best practices.

  • Lead internal communications, engagement activities, and HR events to foster a positive work culture.

  • Lead employee grievance management processes effectively, ensuring timely and fair closure of recommended actions.

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration.

  • Oversee HRIS and joiners–movers–leavers (JML) processes, ensuring all organizational and employee data are up to date.

  • Lead occupational health & safety (OHS) initiatives to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

  • Monitor HR metrics, analytics, and compliance reporting to the MD and Board for informed decision-making.
