Artnature Bangladesh Ltd., a subsidiary of Artnature Inc., Japan, one of the world’s leading multinational companies in premium wig and hairpiece manufacturing, is setting up its new state-of-the-art facility at the Bangladesh Specialized Economic Zone (BSEZ), Araihazar, Narayanganj. The company is engaged in the manufacturing, processing, exporting, and importing of a wide range of premium hair products, including toupees, wigs, wiglets, hair accessories, ornaments, and related materials using both human and synthetic hair. To support the operations of our new plant in Bangladesh, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed candidates who are eager to contribute from the very beginning of our journey here and become a part of a globally recognized brand.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as a bridge between management and workers, handling grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters fairly and promptly, while promoting harmonious labor-management relations.
Conduct regular floor visits to engage with workers, collect feedback and address welfare concerns.
Organize and coordinate worker welfare activities, including cultural programs, sports events, picnics and general assemblies.
Support maternity and female worker welfare, including leave management and medical facilitation as per labor law.
Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of welfare facilities such as canteens, drinking water, washrooms, rest areas, first-aid stations and medical support.
Facilitate worker orientation, induction and ongoing training on health, hygiene, safety, labor rights and compliance requirements as per company guidelines.
Maintain registers, documentation and reports related to welfare, training, maternity, first aid and grievance handling for internal use and external use or audits.
Coordinate with committees such as the Participation, Safety, and Canteen Committees, ensuring proper meetings, documentation and follow-up.
Track absenteeism, manage leave applications and follow up on employee well-being, ensuring timely interventions where necessary.
Promote a safe, healthy and motivating work environment by monitoring occupational health & safety, hygiene and workplace behavior.
Provide guidance and counseling to workers, motivate performance and support management in implementing welfare initiatives.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management to enhance worker well-being and factory compliance.
