Job Context
The HR & Compliance Manager will lead the Human Resources and Social Compliance functions of the Factory, ensuring alignment with multinational corporate standards, international buyer compliance requirements, Bangladesh labor regulations, and sustainability commitments.
Job Responsibilities
Lead manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management systems
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, BNBC-2020, LEED requirements, and international social compliance standards
Organize and manage various buyer/customer compliance audits including RSC, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, OEKOTEX and buyer Code of Conduct programs
Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and worker participation committees
Coordinate employee welfare, sustainability engagement, IEQ-related HR practices, and green workplace initiatives
Maintain HRMIS, payroll systems, compliance documentation, and audit-ready reporting
Implement corporate HR policies aligned with multinational governance standards
Work on safety guidelines for factory and warehouse workers to ensure safety at work
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Set Up HR-systems and processes at WBD factory in accordance with our global Group Standards
