Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Heading the strategic partnership management process of BRAC in collaboration with relevant programmes and departments and in consultation with the senior leaders of BRAC. The role will be the central coordinator of strategic partnership management for BRAC Bangladesh. Also, s/he will constantly strive to find ways to improve BRAC`s strategic partnership management process and form new strategic partnerships to both improve the service delivery and global reach of BRAC.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Head the strategic partnerships unit for BRAC Bangladesh, with guidance from the senior leaders of BRAC.
∎ Identify new potential strategic partners and steer the formation of new strategic partnerships for BRAC Bangladesh.
∎ Lead the management of BRAC's current strategic partnership arrangement (SPA) with DFAT and Global Affairs Canada (GAC) for 2021-25.
∎ Oversee and provide quality assurance for all donor reporting to the strategic partners, including routine reporting of results, annual reviews, and evaluations in close coordination with relevant senior management and internal departments and programmes.
∎ Lead collaborative efforts across the programmes and departments to respond to donor requests and suggestions on shared priorities related to strategic partnerships.
∎ In conjunction with the senior leadership of BRAC, expand and diversify the funding base/ pipeline to increase BRAC's major initiatives and existing collaborations globally.
∎ Facilitate partner discussions and negotiations regarding expanding the SPA partnership to additional partners.
∎ Lead the account coordinator role for designated donor/s for BRAC.
∎ Coordinate across relevant programmes and departments to ensure timely and high-quality reporting on the SPA results framework and SPA financials.
∎ Facilitate regular working group meetings, steering committee meetings, technical working group meetings, and annual partners meetings -- ensuring adequate preparation and follow-up for all meetings.
∎ Lead on the design and implementation of the field visits of high-level delegates that are of strategic interest to BRAC.
∎ Represent BRAC globally in donor meetings, forums, and events, as relevant and required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of log frame and M&E framework development; strong quantitative skills.
∎ Knowledge of different fundraising models and global fundraising landscape for development sector.
∎ Sound knowledge of BRAC, its history, its programmes and culture.
∎ Comfortable working across a number of sectors, developing new domain knowledge.
∎ Strong communications skills, both oral and written in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to learn new technologies easily (e.g. slack, google drive, trello, etc.)
∎ Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
∎ Ability to think strategically with an interest in organisational development
∎ Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
∎ Minimum 08 years of experience in the development or related field; ideally having experience in heading a department/ division/ programme and senior strategic role in a large organisation. Preference will be given to people with experience in strategy development/ partnership management/ fundraising/ and programme management.
