Chemical Industries, Manufacturing (FMCG), Paint, Pharmaceuticals
Job Context:
∎ Monitor the Quality of finish product and the quality of empty container. Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively. Able to make decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for target completion. Must provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
∎ Improvement of existing product, New product development, Cost reduction exercise. Monitor existing RM evaluation, substituting raw materials with new source and new grade, complaint handling (site visit, sample testing) and providing customer service: (providing panel, sample delivery). To train the personnel of different departments.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop procedures for safe and efficient working as per requirements.
∎ Lead the business in innovation and development through a competent R&D function.
∎ Ensure knowledge creation and capturing by executing correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across projects.
∎ To monitor various projects progress, identify new project opportunities and share regular update with Department & Business head.

∎ Run an efficient and effective Technical Support Service to the Business.
∎ To manage the day to day operations of R&D providing guidance, encouraging team work and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
∎ Absorb technology related to coatings by interacting with local team.
∎ Development of new products on time with right quality as per customer requirement.
∎ Cost reduction in existing products by formula optimization and to organize and conduct line trails of new products on line and ensure the successful implementation.
∎ To identify new applications, new opportunities and customer pain areas and value selling.
∎ To respond to customers commercial and technical enquirers, provide timely quotation and negotiating with customer for order finalization.
∎ Technical support to Production & QC Dept. for critical batches through root cause analysis.
∎ To coordinate with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interaction.
∎ Adept to handle Multitude of Raw materials, products, and formulations that are highly complex in nature.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Understand product/project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner.
∎ Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality, and excellence.
∎ Proficient in handling the complex of Paint formulation / technical development concepts, latest Raw materials, and process technologies and designing techniques.
∎ Understands the different process and product requirements and ability to solve problems in testing and applications.
∎ Experience in troubleshooting, product development processes and ability to understand and translate market requirements into product formulation and specification.
