Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor in Textile Technology or Diploma in Textile Designing (Bangladesh Textile University or any foreign University).

∎ At least 15 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive fabric process discipline throughout product-to-market calendar to ensure alignment at each key milestone from factory Week to Fabric Alignment to Sampling and finally Bulk production
∎ Analyze and assess fabric needs, based on Design's seasonal direction, and make fabric recommendations.
∎ Analyze fabric needs across the brand. Communicate recommendations to Design and cross functional partners for leveraging qualities across divisions.
∎ Partner with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising to ensure that fabrics are developed on workable platform.
∎ Identify fabrics that need to be cost engineered as per the infrastructure workable and is reproducible.
∎ Should be well versed with the new products and technology available globally for enhance the R & D activities.
∎ Seek sustainable fabric alternatives that fit costing parameters.
∎ Ensure sustainable raw materials meet all global certification requirements
∎ Demonstrate a sound understanding of design, merchandising, and product development priorities.
∎ Support the utilization of brand fabric liabilities to Design and Merchandising seasonally.
∎ Track all components of the fabric and wash resource library to support seasonal inspiration as well as archive fabrics.
∎ Track Fabric development Metrics/KPIs and brand discipline on number of seasonal developments
∎ Track fabric testing report and risk assessment to level set expectations across functional areas
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong technical knowledge of woven fabrics
∎ Must have experience in Textile Industry.
∎ Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
∎ Effective time management and project management skills.
∎ Willing to live and work in factory premises at Hotapara, Gazipur.
