Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage the entire HR operations of the factory, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and business goals.
∎ Drive strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and manpower budgeting in coordination with different department heads.
∎ Oversee employee life cycle management – on boarding to exit – ensuring compliance with labor laws and factory regulations.
∎ Ensure proper implementation of performance management systems (PMS), KPIs, and employee evaluation frameworks.
∎ Lead employee engagement, retention initiatives, and grievance handling to foster a productive and compliant workplace.
∎ Supervise payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and HRIS data accuracy in collaboration with accounts and compliance teams.
∎ Maintain strong liaison with government bodies (DIFE, Labor Office, BGMEA, etc.) to ensure legal compliance and smooth audits.
∎ Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful working environment in line with WRAP, SEDEX, BSCI, and other compliance standards.
∎ Monitor and control absenteeism, disciplinary actions, and factory-based HR interventions to reduce turnover.
∎ Plan and implement HR training & development programs for workers, supervisors, and mid level managements to enhance productivity and skill level.
∎ Lead internal communication, policy implementation, and support factory management in decision-making with HR data insights.
∎ Prepare and submit regular different HR reports to corporate HR and top management.
