Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 35 years
  • Total Experience: Minimum 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 to 7 years in a senior managerial/leadership role.

  • Preferred Industry Background: Candidates from the service industry (e.g., Banking, Telecom, FMCG, Logistics, Hospitality, Consulting, or similar service-oriented sectors) will be given preference.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and developing HR teams, managing organizational change, and driving people strategy at a senior level.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Bangladesh Labor Law, statutory compliance, insurance regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Core Leadership: Integrity, strategic thinking, decisiveness, and strong team leadership.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal & written communication in Bangla and English.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office with strong numerical & analytical ability.

  • Benefits Knowledge: Working knowledge of employee insurance schemes and benefits administration.



Responsibilities & Context:

Provide senior strategic leadership to the HR function as a trusted business partner to every business unit, translating organizational goals into HR strategy and ensuring consistent execution, full legal compliance, and a safe, inclusive work culture.

What You Will Own

  • Strategic HR leadership - HR planning, organizational design, and workforce forecasting aligned with business goals.

  • Talent acquisition & development - programs that build bench strength. end-to-end recruitment, training, and career development

  • Compensation, benefits & insurance - competitive pay structures; group life, health, and other schemes, from provider liaison and premium negotiation to renewals and claims settlement.

  • HR operations & administration- payroll, benefits administration, documentation, office administration, and vendor coordination; approve policies for organization-wide rollout.

  • Succession planning & performance culture - succession for key positions and a performance-based culture through structured performance management.

  • HR metrics, analytics & budget data - driven insights for senior management; lead yearly HR budget finalization, including insurance and training costs.

  • Compliance & risk management - adherence to labor laws, insurance regulations, and statutory requirements; oversight of safeguarding investigations.

  • Team leadership & collaboration - lead and develop the HR team, own departmental KPIs, and partner with business leaders on tailored HR solutions.
