∎ Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant field in any large garments accessories companies, out of which 2 years in similar level position.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Hiring a General Manager (GM) for Ready-Made Garments Accessories Production & Marketing is a critical decision, as this role involves overseeing both the production process and the marketing strategies to ensure the successful operation and growth of the business. Here are the key job responsibilities for this position:
∎ 1. Strategic Leadership: Business Strategy Development: Develop and implement the overall business strategy for the production and marketing of garment accessories, aligning with the company's long-term goals. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth in the garment accessories sector. Budgeting and Financial Planning: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the production and marketing departments, ensuring cost-effective operations.
∎ 2. Production Management: Production Planning: Oversee the production planning process, ensuring timely and efficient production schedules that meet customer demands while optimizing resource use. Quality Control: Ensure that the production process adheres to the highest quality standards, implementing quality control measures and addressing any issues promptly. Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely procurement, inventory management, and distribution. Process Optimization: Continuously improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs while maintaining product quality.
∎ 3. Marketing and Sales Management: Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s garment accessories, including branding, advertising, and digital marketing initiatives. Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying new markets, developing customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market share in existing markets. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design and introduce new accessories that meet market demands and customer preferences.
∎ 4. Team Leadership and Development: Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the production and marketing teams, ensuring high performance, engagement, and alignment with company goals. Recruitment and Training: Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Performance Management: Set performance targets for the team, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
∎ 5. Operational Efficiency: Resource Management: Optimize the use of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Technology Integration: Identify and implement new technologies and systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and marketing effectiveness. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
∎ 6. Financial Oversight: Profitability Management: Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets. Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to maintain profitability, including analyzing and reducing unnecessary expenses.

Sustainability Initiatives: Lead sustainability efforts within production and marketing, promoting eco-friendly practices and materials in line with company values and market demand.
∎ 9. Risk Management: Risk Identification: Identify potential risks in production and marketing, including supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, and operational inefficiencies.
